Ambassador's for Duke's Day 2015
We are very proud to announce that Midget Farrelly and Pam Burridge have joined us as Ambassadors for the Duke's Day Centenary Celebrations.
Midget is the first Wold Surfing Champion and spent his early years as a member of the Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club. He has a wealth of knowledge and is widely known and respected within our surfing community.
Pam is one of the pioneers of women's surfing in Australia and once a northern beaches girl, hailing from Manly. Pam started surfing in 1975 at the age of 10 and won her first National Title in 1980 when professional surfing was still in its infancy. In 1990 she won the ASP Women's world title after a convincing win in Big Sunset Beach grinders. She knew Isabel Letham well and named her first daughter Isabel. Pam is running a surfing school on the south coast sharing her experience and enthusiasm with a new generation of surfers.
We are honoured to have Midget and Pam as Ambassadors.
