Duke's re-enactment
In August 2014, members of the Duke's Day committee travelled to Waikiki, HI, USA in the quest to find an Hawaiian capable of riding the Duke's replica surfboard for a re-enactment of that day in 1915 when the Duke brought an exhibition of his style of surfing to Australia and inspired many to surf the same style. Duane Desoto has been chosen to play that re-enactment. See Duane's audition ride below. Learn More.
